With Jack returning from D.C. to reclaim GE from Devin, Liz being interviewed by the adoption center's Bev (Megan Mullaly) for her adoption application, and Tracy celebrating his video game successes, 30 Rock is a bustling hub of wackiness and antics. The teamster's leader (Brian Denehy) holds the secret to the greatest sandwich in all of New York, and when the dummies take Liz's sandwich as she reunites with Floyd, they must do all they can to get another one. Dennis Duffy (Dean Winters) has returned to 30 Rock and Liz's life as the latest 15 minute celeb "The Subway Hero". As jack books Dennis on TGS to capitalize on his faux fame, Jack is also trying to find a new celebrity, when Bucky Bright (Tim Conway) turns out to be a dud. to accompany him to the next GOP dinner and lands on Tracy and tries to convince him to join the GOP as a spokesperson. As Go To There is nearing the season 2 finale, the writers are headed towards a conclusion, so join us on the ride into purgatory and season 3!

30 Rock has returned from the WGA Strike of 2008 and as the hiatus ends, one of the strongest episodes the series will ever produces hits the airwaves: "MILF Island." In a regular whodunnit Liz must track down the one at TGS who spread a viscous remark about Jack Donaghy, all while the season finale of MILF Island airs in the background. Here we are nerds, the last episode before the infamous WGA strike of 2008 affected 30 Rock. With a looming hiatus and uncertainty of 30 Rock returning from the strike, a potential finale is created that wraps up the C.C. and Jack storyline while Liz looks into real estate and Kenneth rides the brown dragon known as coffee. Before the 30 Rock Christmas break, the Lemons (Anita Gillette, Buck Henry, and Andy Richter) and Donaghys gather together, but it's not long before Jack's mother Colleen (Elaine Stritch) can cut to the heart of their family joy; as well as Jack's. Elsewhere, the office's annual Christmas celebration, Ludachristmas, is gaining steam but Tracy is restricted from drinking any alcohol, can Tracy make this Ludachristmas one to remember? As Cece and Jack bicker over going public with their relationship, potentially putting their careers at risk, Liz must handle her TGS children: Tracy and Jenna. When Jenna receives an award for best actress in a movie based on a musical based on a movie Tracy takes it personally, so as Liz coddles him, Jenna reacts as one would expect and becomes a second Tracy for Liz. Take one 37-year old showrunner, one 20 year-old intern add in a mixture of an over-the-top actor and their GE executive boss into a 30 Rock episode and ordinarily you would have an instant classic episode, but Cougars leaves a foul taste in the viewer's mouth. A product of its time, and at the height of the cougars 'trend', this episode of 30 Rock just fails to leave too many lasting impressions, despite the number of laughs and infamous quotes that may have come from it during its initial run. Worry not nerds, w're at the halfway point of season 2, and our next block of episodes will be not-so-blergh!
